Google is retiring the Works with Nest® program on August 31, 2019. After this date, the ability to enable PowerView integration with Nest will no longer be available. Integrations enabled before that date will still be functional and accessible. If a Nest account is disabled, it will not be able to be re-enabled.
The ability to enable PowerView integration with Nest will be affected the same day the Works with Nest program is retired on August 31, 2019.
PowerView integration with Nest will remain available as long as the necessary connections are supported by the Works with Nest program. For more information on the Works with Nest program transition, please refer to the announcement by Google.
If a Nest account is migrated to a Google account, all access to direct PowerView integration with Nest will be lost. PowerView Scene coordination with features such as Home and Away and Rush Hour Rewards will no longer be available.
No. PowerView shades will still be able to integrate with popular voice-control and home automation systems such as Amazon Alexa, the Google Assistant and Apple® HomeKit™.
